About Us

After seeing many clients struggling to find representation to acquire Isle of Man properties or locked into inflexible leases, missing out on critical incentives and savings, or simply unaware of better commercial terms, Cherelyn founded Finally Home in 2020 — to change that.

With 17 years of hands-on experience advising both public and private sector clients, Cherelyn launched Finally Home to guide businesses through the complexities of commercial property negotiations in England and later, the Isle of Man.

Finally Home exists to make sure you don't leave value on the table. We take the time to understand your unique business model and property requirements, then craft a tailored strategy that maximises your outcomes — in the long term.

Finally Home was appointed to manage the full relocation and acquisition process for a manufacturing company moving its operations from England to the Isle of Man.

The Challenge

Complex multi-faceted relocation requiring industrial facility acquisition, lease restructuring, and comprehensive staff accommodation arrangements across jurisdictions.

How long does the process take from start to finish?

The timeline can vary widely depending on your specific needs and the current market conditions. Generally, finding and securing a commercial space can take anywhere from one month to a year (or more). We work efficiently to streamline the process, keeping your time constraints in mind. Typically for an office or retail, 4-12 weeks is normal for an industrial unit c24-52 weeks is normal.

Do you provide support after the lease is signed?

Yes, our service extends beyond just securing the commercial space. We offer ongoing support for any issues or questions that may arise after you move in. This can include assistance with lease renewals, expansions, or addressing any concerns with the landlord. We can also help with fitout and project management, maintenance, events planning, and anything else you can think of relating to commercial property!
